Mariveles celebrates 79th year of liberation

In a dazzling display of beauty and grace, Mariveles celebrated its 79th year of liberation with the Mutya ng Mariveles 2024 pageant. The event showcased the charm and elegance of the town’s finest ladies, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the community.

The evening was filled with excitement and anticipation as the winners were announced. Ms. Jefferleene Infante of Barangay Baseco Country was crowned Mutya ng Mariveles 2024, captivating the audience with her poise and charisma. The runners-up included Ms. Heidy Mae Caluban of Barangay San Isidro as 1st Runner-up, Ms. Kately Joy Preye of Barangay Biaan as 2nd Runner-up, Ms. Norie Joy Cordel of Barangay Camaya as 3rd Runner-up, and Ms. Sophia Julia Valdez of Barangay Townsite as 4th Runner-up.

The pageant also recognized other exceptional individuals, such as Elzid Joy Limpin of Malaya, Bianca Lei Ygbuhay of Batangas II, Sheanne Reyes Martinez of Sisiman, Nicole Anne Leyran of Poblacion, and Camille Prieto Asis of Lucanin, who were named as the Top 10 Candidates for Mutya ng Mariveles 2024.

Special awards were given to outstanding candidates, including Ms. Nicole Anne Leyran of Poblacion for Miss Kremee Cafe, Ms. Kyla Camila Pontillas of Alasasin for Miss GNPD, and Ms. Heidy Mae Caluban of San Isidro for Miss Oriental Bataan. Ms. Jefferleene Infante of Baseco Country also received the award for Best in Swimsuit, showcasing her confidence and beauty.





The celebration continued with the announcement of special awards for the 1st Set, 2nd Set, and Special Awards for Miss Camaya Coast, where Ms. Norie Joy Cordel of Camaya and Ms. Lady Dianne Baron of Ipag were recognized for their exceptional talents and grace.

The festivities culminated in the announcement of a special non-working holiday on February 26, 2024, in honor of the Liberation Day of Mariveles. This holiday extends to all public offices and schools within the jurisdiction of the Municipality, allowing residents to fully participate in the remaining activities of the 79th Liberation Anniversary Celebration. The Mutya ng Mariveles 2024 pageant and its accompanying events serve as a reminder of the town’s rich history and vibrant culture, uniting the community in a celebration of beauty, talent, and tradition.

Other activities include Buntis Congress, Mass Wedding, LGU Night, Got Talent Invitational, Miss Gay Invitational, Barangay Night, Invitational Sing and Dance Contest, DepEd Elementary Night, WW2 Landing in Mariveles Commemoration, Mr. and Miss PWD Mariveles, Valentine’s Date Night, Stakehokders Night, Battle of the Bands, Senior Citizen Goes To Broadway, Gabi ng Kabataan, Gawad Lingkod Bayan 2024, Coop Night, Sectoral Night, Poster Making Contest, Mariveles 24th Inter-Highschool Sports Festival, Market Night, Mariveles Trade Fair, TalenTODA, DepEd College and Highschool Night, Thanksgiving Night, Civic Parade 2024, and Street Dancing and Mass Demonstration.
